I first called to make sure that the restaurant was opened and a lovely young lady answered and I found her to be very knowledgeable about the food being served and various items on the menu and she kindly provided me with the address, upon arrival I was greeted by a women behind the counter however she was on the phone with a customer placing an order and she acknowledged me while on the phone I patiently waited and once she finished she apologized and kindly took my order, I just knew by the atmosphere and the awesome customer service, that the food was going to not disappoint, my order consisted of the Rasta Pasta DELICIOUS ?? Bought the stew chicken with rice and peas. The rice was gritty and not cooked right. 2nd time I bought this from them and this time I will really never buy their meals ever again. I’ll stick to their porrage and chicken soup when I’m desperate. The Jamaican Cravin in Whiteplains is actually very good but location in Ossining sucks and not worth the price which is over priced. Also gravy is heavy with bbq sauce ?
Had to be the worst patties and fried whiting I've EVER had... the fish... c'mon... really?? It was so hard and dry it may as well have been jerky.I honestly have never had a dry, flavorless patty until now. Literally was there within the last hour and it tasted like it was made at 10am.. food needs to be fresh. Sad to say, it will be my first and last time there. Very sad and disappointing.
Average Jamaican food but decent for the area. The food could use more flavor cabbage is bland, peas and rice are dry and j chicken is well cooked but not memorable. The desserts and sorrel are highlights though and worth the visit. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I bought Jerk chicken half for $11.95 fee(credit card and there were only 4 small pieces. 3 of them were so burnt that I couldn't eat the skin. It tasted much saltier than before. (The picture came out better than it actually was.
The best curry chicken pattie I've had in years !!! Wanted to try the beef pattie too but I'll come back for that. Taking home some coconut cake, fresh out of the oven!
Nice friendly Staff, great food, good price. Authentic Jamaican Food. You can taste the fresh ingredients, well seasoning, great presentation.
