Impossible to find fault, this sort of glowing review is not needed by the venue itself as they have all the customers they need; a Monday lunch in early November and nearly all the covers were taken, mainly with locals; so we were wise...to book. No, this is aimed solely at the TA brigade who need a recommendation for somewhere perfectly good and excellent value to dine near Monein without any risk of disappointment. Not haut cuisine, but simple tasty fresh dishes, encouragingly limited choices to a few menus, and faultless enthusiastic service; I don't think the Proprietor and her team stopped moving during the Service. We were recommended to try the Crazy Duck for Sunday Lunch. Charming staff , for whom nothing was too much trouble served delicious freshly cooked food. An omelette was specially cooked for one of our party, who had requested it even though it wasn't on...the menu. Good value wine complemented the food, and the deserts were fantastic . Do try it!!!!
Husband and wife run this busy bistro. Only open a couple of evenings. Very popular at lunchtime with local workers. Various menus from they are very flexible about mixing and matching. Some dishes have been really excellent, others less so. But Irish lady owner...who runs front of house is so friendly and her french husband is the chef
Accueil extrêmement agréable, carte généreuse, des produits frais, une cuisine variée, recherchée, et délicieuse! un conseil laissez vous tenter par les nems de canard...ou par la foie gras mi-cuit...quoi que le tournedos Rossini est délicieux également!!! ;-) Bref je recommande ce restaurant sans hésitation, je me régale à chaque fois!

We ate here a while back- summer before last (actually July Didn't expect it to be much as it's in a nondescript mini mall and was pretty basic in decor. But the food was very good and the hostess (an Irish lady) made us...feel extremely welcome. Would definitely visit again if I was in the area.
This restaurant is à little bit noisy, but for a menu incluant wind and coffee. Don't hésitate. Homemade desert and crispy french fries...and if you want to speak english. To est good fond with smiling service, you have to do a stop here..
