Great quality and value. We are local and go out for lunches every week. Creagan Inn is a place we hadn 't been to for a while, mainly because we had been disappointed the previous couple of times. This was a year or more ago and we thought we would try it again. It has changed ownership since we last went and what a difference. It is back on our lunch circuit . What a fabulous meal we had. Our visit to the restaurant was fantastic. Despite reading some negative reviews beforehand, we decided to give it a try while on holiday nearby. We had initially planned to go to the Creagan Inn for lunch, but after reading the reviews, we drove about 8 miles to check it out first. We were pleasantly surprised by the pleasant atmosphere and decided to book a table. I've been here years ago and had good memories so was looking forward to a nice solo meal. I should have stayed in my campsite and cooked for myself. I had the scallops large plate. They arrived suspiciously fast. Each scallop had a slightly coloured top which turned out to be unchewable. The rest of it was poor very soft and wet. They did not look like they should if served straight from the pan with a crisp seared top. They were presented on a deeply unpleasant mushy pea porridge with about a teaspoon of black pudding crumb. We stopped by for a drink after walking our dog in nearby Benderloch. The weather was unusually nice, so we sat at the water's edge and admired the view from the restaurant's beer garden. It was a peaceful spot! Although we didn't eat this time, the menu looked great and the restaurant appeared to be well-maintained and inviting inside.

second visit during the holiday this time for pizzanacht. excellent pizza and loaded fries, would leave definitiw room for homemade brownie and ice. the staff was all very nice, helpful and friendly. would definitely recommend a visit.
Had a lovely lunch. Big shout out for the Sunday roast. It was so tasty and lots of beef. So glad we stopped here for food. The service was great too (sorry didn’t get the guys name but very friendly)
Nice place very busy but service was good. Sat outside on a lovely day. Had fish pie but thought there was too much of a lemon taste for my palate. Would eat there again no problem.
