We had been recommended to the restaurant and wanted to try somewhere new with our guests. Having booked, we asked to sit in the garden rather than under the veranda, which appeared to unsettle the staff, to the point that they said they could only put three place mats on the table, not four ?!?Checking the menu, it soon became apparent that our friends, who are fish-eating vegetarians, only really had one option for each course since the vegetarian starter and the vegetarian main course were so similar. You are directed into the garden when you first arrive at CreaMundo, and once you step in, it's like walking through the wardrobe and into a sun-filled Narnia. The quirky garden is set out so gently, reminiscent of an English garden party with plenty of little quirks for your eyes to explore. But once the sun goes down, Narnia is transformed into a scene from A Midsummer Night's Dream with subtle and fetching lighting.The staff are friendly and at pains to explain the menu, serve you quietly and without fuss.And then there's the food. Quite delightful! A refreshingly unusual menu served on rather lovely plates of all shapes and sizes, with a waft of fresh herbs each time a dish is served. So...

Gezellig restaurant met een top prijs kwaliteit.Waren met 3 personen en hebben met zijn allen het menu genomen. Voorgerecht, hoofdschotel, desert en huiswijn... totaal +/- € 100 voor 3 personen.De eigenaar ( een Belgische vlaming en tevens chef kok ) bereid alles zelf en komt persoonlijk de keuzes in het menu ( dat regelmatig veranderd ) toelichten...indien men eventueel iets wil aanpassen, geen probleem en steeds met de glimlach.... een onvergetelijke ervaring... heb nog dezelfde avond een tafel gereserveerd voor ons volgende bezoek.Ter info, ik raad wel ten stelligste aan te reserveren teneinde teleurstelling te vermijden. Toen wij het restaurant bezochten was het vol.

Ate there on a Thursday evening. Menu offered 3 choices for each course including 1 vegetarian option. The chef came to explain the menu. The atmosphere is cosy relaxed and nice ambiance music. The presentation of the dish was a pleasure to watch. It was like a painting. The food was excellent. It is so nice to see this quality of restaurant in Leran. Nous étions invités par une amie qui connaissait déjà ce restaurant et nous y avons passé une très bonne soirée - ambiance intérieur 'cosy', accueil chaleureux, des plats inventifs faits avec des produits locaux très bien présentés et vraiment goûteux, le tout à un prix très abordable. Les vins bio sont agréables et pas chers. Nous aimerions y retourner par du beau temps car la terrace et le jardin ont l'air enchanteur.

All the dishes were interesting and beautifully cooked, with great flavours. My only slight disappointment wast that on the evening of our visit, both vegetarian options (starter and main), were cheese-based. I felt that for variety, one could have featured a different protein element. Hoping I was just unlucky that night, as otherwise we really enjoyed the experience and plan to return. ps the desserts were amazing!

Accueil chaleureux, cadre raffiné, superbe terrasse.Cuisine très interressante, associations de goûts et soin, nous avons passé un bon moment.Seul bémol salle bruyante ( mais les restaurateurs n'y peuvent rien) très fréquenté par des anglophones et des bataves. (ça parle très fort !!!) donc loupé pour le diner en amoureux. Tout le reste est au top.

Plats joliment présentés et très goûteux. Produits de région. Propriétaires accueillants. Cuisine préparée sur place au dernier moment.
