There is now next to no way that I can go to have one of the usual slimy, stodgy, half-cold breakfast sandwiches at the chain places once I have had what is arguably one of the best sandwiches of this decade outright... and not just.. breakfast sandwich. The Breakfast Panino here is absolute perfection in every way: It's served piping hot, the toasted bread is perfect, the bacon is ample and delicious, the cheese exactly properly melted, the veg is super fresh and the egg... well it has to be cooked with pixie dust, as it can't possibly be the same ingredient served by McD's, Tim's et al. Came here because Coombs Market had nothing on a cold wet Sunday afternoon. Wonderful coffee, chai latte and hot chocolate and the scones and muffins were delicious according to my company. For me they had a great selection of gluten free goodies. The soups smelled...wonderful and be warned that ita a busy little place ... the service is excellent though so you won't wait for long
Have been going to the Nanaimo farm market for a year. The market is now outdoors. Hsve walked past this coffee vendor many times. Have been trying a lot of store bought dark coffees. Decided to try the Quallicum coffee. Got the dark french roast...and told him I use French press he ground the beans a little course. Liked the coffee best I have tried. I will be back
This is a very casual coffee shop serving great coffees, a range of bakery items and several lunch specials. It is very busy but service is quick and friendly. Pros- homemade soup, goodies, wonderful drinks, clean, well trained staff, spot for little children to play, outdoor seating, no loud obnoxious music Cons- too small, hard to navigate carrying something to your spot while people are in line, most of the chairs [not all] are...uncomfy.
This coffee shop and eatery is almost in the middle of nowhere but is always busy and always good. It has a lovely outdoor seating area which is great in the summer and it feels cozy inside in the fall and winter. It is a...great place to meet a friend for coffee and a light lunch.
We just stopped in for coffee. I have to say this was by far the best Americano coffee we have tasted! Will definitely be back for coffee. I have had the dessert bars in past and they have been great. Will have to try the...lunch menu soon.

We had lunch here when we realized the market was absolutely overwhelmed with visitors. The wraps were delicious, nice outdoor seating on a hot day.
