Offered to move us to a more comfy table adjacent, without me having to ask....our server is a mindreader!!! We ended up being three instead of 2...so easily pushed together two tables. Ordered the grilled salmon and mango tacos. Do yourself a favor. Order it too, off the special above-the-counter chalkboard menu. It's not on the official lunch menu. I had a little bit of a rough Monday morning and my son asked for crepes so we decided to come here. We had the place to ourselves around 9am! It was so nice with the morning light coming in and watching the cars go by. I loved the vibe here, with the pretty interior and friendly staff speaking French in the background. Of course the sweet crepe with banana and strawberries was yummy, and my caprese Eggs Benedict plate was delicious. They have a kids menu with coloring pages. There is something about French food that immediately requires perfect and exceptional food to be combined with a complete lack of regard for time. Time, French food says, is an obnoxious American construct. Great food will happen when it happens, so sit back. I can't say I ever mind, but I would certainly skip this location whenever time mattered to me. Otherwise, the atmosphere is cozy and adorable. The service is friendly. The food is just phenomenal. We went back twice, because once was not enough, and I'm so glad we did because the second time I had a special that did not exist on my previous encounter and it TRANSPORTED ME to the happiest food place I've ever been. Great food and fantastic service! Came on a Saturday for a friend's bday dinner celebration. The restaurant is pretty small, so if you have a large group I'd recommend setting a reservation ahead of time. The woman who waited on us the whole night was really nice and made us all feel very welcome. Great for birthday celebrations! There were so many great choices on the menu that it was a bit difficult to finally decide on the dish we really wanted. Ended up with the Nordique Crepe, which is a savory crepe with smoked salmon. This place is delicious! Dropped by on a Friday for lunch and they were not too busy, got a table outside immediately. Ordered the caprese benedict and the l'italien panini sando, both came with a side of salad and potato gratin. You know... anything with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes is top class. I really liked that the eggs benedict was not completely covered in hollandaise, and I could actually taste the perfectly poached egg and the mozzarella. The potatoes were also pretty delicious and overall a pretty good portion. We had a great lunch, merci beaucoup!
Definitely come here if you want homemade tasting food when you don't feel like cooking. Two of us went for dineLA and got to try most things on the dineLA menu except the mahi mahi and it was all delicious. I would recommend trying this place, it's very cute and food was prepared well. Right now it looks like they have only 4 tables outside during covid, server was welcoming. Parking behind the building, limited spots but parking generally isn't an issue at this moment of time in LA.
We had an amazing meal! Not only was the food delicious, but the owner and staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. We live in the neighborhood and have always wanted to visit this restaurant. We’re so glad we finally did, and we’re already looking forward to going back this week!
Such a lovely little place! Crepes were amazing. I got the strawberry banana mango Nutella. It is huge and so yummy! The hot mocha latte did not disappoint either! Good music, good vibes , friendly staff. Overall a beautiful atmosphere. Quiet at lunch time.
