We were pottering around the centre of town having had a long walk along the wind blown but beautiful sea front. Though it's a smallish place it has plenty of food choice and the locals were out eating in force at lunch time. My wife is very fond of smoked salmon and here it was being offered in a galette (a buckwheat savoury crepe) with a lemon cream (€8). I had a cheese and apple galette €7.60) after considering their scallop & cognac offering. As I was eating this tasty pancake the waitress passed by with the scallop type and I regretted at that point not ordering it but the regret vanished quite quickly. Beautiful settings just minutes from the seafront, we sat outside on a lovely July evening, the staff were very helpful when we ordered as they brought us an English menu. We ordered steak which was cooked to perfection and the sauces were lovely too. They also brought out a bowl of water and a biscuits for our dog, which I thought was very thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely sitting there watching the world go by on a beautiful evening, we enjoyed it so much that we went back twice more and the derserts are definitely worth trying. If you are in this beautiful town then I would definitely recommend you call in.
Awesome crepes made with Ble Noir, ideal for Gluten dodgers, the 'Paysan' was incredible, the service was perfect and the presentation superb. This was a mid price family eaterie minutes from the beach ideal for parents and poseurs alike with big windows and pavement tables...the colour on the beams kept us entertained, was it a pale sage grey or an arctic goosewing?Parking is free after 7pm...go there soon...we will return!
Two minutes walk from the seafront, just the place to go for a traditional taste of the region - delicious savoury galettes and sweet crepes, lots of fillings from, you can even add your own if you prefer. Washed down with local cider and rounded off with freshly ground French coffee. Friendly service if your French really isn't up to they'll translate everything into English for you. Will definitely go back for more

Quick and tasty. Flambé calvados was delicious. Service was good .. Perfect lunch place for kids too .. They loved it too.
