We chose this restaurant because of its TripAdvisor rating but it was one f the worst dining experiences I have had anywhere. The girl that seated us was bubbly, friendly and efficient. She spoke some English and was very pleasant. The lady who took our order was also very courteous and cheerful. Everything was going well and the drinks came without delay. A short time later my daughter's order arrived but no sign of ours. We waited and waited, by now my daughter was well finished. Occasionally the passing staff would acknowledge our waiting saying it would come shortly but it never arrived. This Creperie is excellent. I visit Fouras a few times every year and will definitely be returning to Creperie Gwel Kaer. The service was excellent and all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My husband and I both had galettes followed by crepes and the food was delicious. We were in Fouras for a week and visited the Creperie several times whilst we were there. We will definitely be returning.
Found this almost by accident after visiting the oyster beds at Fouras. Beautiful town with a few restuarants but this creperie was excellent. A free kit Breton to welcome you in then great service in a nicely fitted out dining area. Loved it and will definitely revisit in the future
Arrived in Fouras after a long drive and needed somewhere to eat and relax. Very welcoming,and excellent gallettes and crepes. Sunset over the bay. Eating in the conservatory part at the front,almost like being outside but not. Reasonably priced. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Couldn't fault this lovely creperie. Fast friendly service at peak time lunch. Very clean with a great choice of fillings, both sweet & savory. Very child friendly. Just across from the beach with an excellent view of the fort etc.
the only restaurant open on a Sunday evening in a oven? and well discovered, varied map but ingredients certainly fresh, friendly welcome, efficient service, modal prices and if you arrive early sunset guaranteed on the front.
Great Breton restaurant with a seaview, good choice of buckwheat and sweet pancakes. Kind and fast waiters. A little pricey but worth checking out.
