Creperie L Abreuvoir is one of the most popular restaurants in the village. It’s a lovely place for an outdoor dinner. I’ve found the inside a little gloomy. But they have two outside terraces, I like the upper one with the tree in the middle best. Obviously crepes are their thing, I like crepes, but they are into whole wheat crepes which I didn’t care for, so next time I ordered a salad. It’s just a lovely backstreet sweet spot to while away an evening; and the desserts are good too. Reasonable prices, good house wine. Great service. Go inside to pay.
Service with a smile (very important) and a wide choice of galette/crepes sourced locally. We have been twice over the last month. We tried different galettes, always freshly prepared and delicious. The price is reasonable. The place is small ish so would advice booking to avoid disappointment. Be prepared to relax, there is only one front-of-house but that did not matter to us, especially as she was friendly and relaxed with our attempted French. Very busy creperie, tucked away down a side street, full of charm. We arrived early before 12 to ensure a table, having been turned away the day before as was full. Sat outside on the terrace. Excellent service, friendly and attentive. Delicious food, salad was huge and very tasty. Children had sweet pancakes which were large served with ice cream and lots of sauce. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, advise to book a table or arrive early.
We ate here as a family. 5 adults and 4 children. We were seated on the first floor. The food, as usual was first class, and service second to none. Booking is essential here, especially in high season. Will definitely visit again next year.
