After a wet coastal walk we popped in two dads four kids and - the dads - ate galettes - the Complete was savoury goodness with ham cheese and an egg in the middle and was superb accompanied by great coffee - the kids - ate crepes with ice cream or sugar, butter and lemon and had hot chocolate - small rich cups of chocolate too rich for some. Service was slow, it was midday and the husband and wife team were trying to get around the busy restaurant full of locals, they were apologetic and it was understandable as we'd arrived at peak time. The welcome is very friendly and we feel quickly as at "sa mamie." the boss and her daughter are smiling and pleasant. excellent and hearty crêpes, the dessert crêpe is more common. We were allowed to visit a Breton-language singer who made us discover traditional music with ancient instruments. good warm atmosphere, it is essential not to fall into the tourist trap of the seaside. This was our last stop before hitting the road and we really enjoyed the Galettes at La Derive. Portion are big, service is good, we would recommend this creperie to everyone who likes crepes
