During our daily ski outing we have a morning break in the little cafe at the Col de La Faucille. There is a fine range of snacks - packets of French fries, sausages, waffles with canned drinks or coffee, chocolate of tea, but our favourites are the pancakes which come in sweet or savoury flavours and go well with the vin chaud. The terrace is lovely in fine weather but the back room is always warm during snow falls or when the temperature is below zero. Most of the people who work in the resort go their for their snacks - that's a top recommendation!

ptit koin (to resume the spelling of the name of the establishment) friendly located in the very center of the hamlet of the pas de la faucille ... at the foot of the cable car of the round mountain, and ski slopes in winter, trails in summer. small single chalet, with wooden terrace very well oriented ... no services at the tables, we order at the counter ... nice reception, dynamic and efficient ... quick restoration (or not) of type "snack-bar" as in the good old time.
Here you will not get a Michelin meal, but the location and sunny terrace make it ideal for a fast box stop at the Col de la Faucille. There is a reasonable choice of crepes (sweet and hearty) at very good prices, even if they are not served on a plate! It was exactly what we wanted after a few hours on the mountain. It's always a treat to stop at babeth, she and her staff are smiling and friendly. The only problem is that we have to make the quu because everyone comes to eat his delicious gauffers. No day at the sickle without going o ptit enka.

We visit here in summer and winter. Always great service and I would recommend the frits and crepes. Good view of the slopes.
