Creperie Restaurant du Vieux Port

We’ve been coming to the Creperie for years. It is a charming setting and when the weather is good (as during our visit), the garden is wonderful. However.....the service was terrible (despite our fluent French)... took ages to get a bottle of water......asked several times for some bread...received leftover bread from a table next to us.....one third of the moules not open (maybe not cooked for long enough)....we did receive another bowl but all a bit too late. Still did not receive any fresh bread. The waiter cleared half of the table but left the other half for about 10 minutes. Crepes were served a bit on the cold side and the waiter needs to follow a course in ‘flamberen’ he might just...

My parents visited this restaurant and had live worms in their salad! Disgusting! They notified the owner and a fresh salad, without worms was provided.... One would think that a small gesture of goodwill would be appropriate but there was no apology and when the bill was brought, the worm salad was charged! Shameful!

We had a very nice evening at this creperie which is quiet large. We sat outside in the garden at a romantic table for two. All tables in the restaurant were full with local citizens and the service was wonderful. The galettes and crepes were really the best we’ve ever had!

Lovely location and excellent crepes plus friendly staff. Definitely one of the best in Port Haliguen. We are happy to recommend but be sure to book.

Cheerful place serving crepes and gallettes in the sunshine ther garden is beautiful Lots of varieties of crepes etc
