However, my Bacon Burger, while visually appealing, fell short in flavor. The fresh meat patty was loosely packed, resulting in a slippery construction that made the more solid parts slide right out of the bun. On the positive side, the onion rings were delicious, though they were quite oily and the portion seemed small for the price. Similarly, the dessert cinnamon roll crepe had a promising concept but was overpriced and lacked distinct flavor.
This is one of the top spots for breakfast in Citrus Heights. The food is served FAST, HOT, and DELICIOUS. (My friend received her meal at the table before I even placed my order!) There's a fantastic variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone. This restaurant is all about great food done right, rather than fancy table settings. Plus, the outdoor dining patio welcomes dogs. They also offer gluten-free choices! You can enjoy dishes like crepes, garlic fries, yam fries, and fresh eggs. This place is definitely on my list of favorite breakfast spots!
The most misleading item was the Passionfruit Crepe. I ordered it expecting a distinct passionfruit flavor, but I was disappointed to find it lacked any passionfruit taste at all. I think the name should be changed to Mixed Berries Crepe instead. While the dessert still tasted good, I really wished it had that promised passionfruit flavor. On a positive note, parking was ample, although there was a homeless individual near the parking area. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options.
Added a sweet and savoury crepe and onion rings. Parking was simple and many seats inside. The tables were clean and the food came quite fast after the order in the register. The savory crepe was a special one, so his name escaped me, but had a good part of meat and sauce. My mom favored the sweet crêpe. There was no more crumbs. We ordered the eggplant sandwich and the Philly cheesesteak, and both were massive and absolutely delicious. The eggplant sandwich was served on incredibly soft focaccia bread. As for the Philly cheesesteak, it was loaded with melted cheese. We also tried the banana Nutella crêpe, but we devoured it before we could snap a photo…that says everything about how great it was!
Wow. We always drive by, and it’s always busy. We kept saying one day we will stop in. Today we did!!! Clean, friendly, comfortable pricing with this awful Pandemic inflation, and amazing food with huge portions and an abundant of choices. Just felt surreal To actually go somewhere and actually endure such a nice time with my family.
You really need to step inside to fully appreciate this place. It's so charming and tidy. While the prices are slightly higher, the quality and portion sizes make it worthwhile. The customer service was outstanding, and I will definitely be returning for the impossible burger and the delicious crepes.
We had two of their sweet crepes, Passion Fruit (mixed berry) and strawberry chocolate, both were in gluten-free form and pretty good. Service was fast and friendly, and the tables inside are well spacious so you don't feel crowded. We're definitely going back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
