Extremely unsafe. My family ate here tonight, we sat in a booth and my 4yr old and 2yr old colored while waiting for our food. We were there for quite awhile as the kitchen was pretty backed up. At one point my wife?s keys dropped between the booth and the wall. My 2 yr old had been sitting there for the hour we were in the restaurant. When my wife leaned over to try and get the keys, she bumped the electrical outlet that was hanging off the wall. A huge spark shot up and mywife is lucky she wasn?t electrocuted, and we?re lucky that during the hour we sat there my little girl didn?t kick or bump that outlet. We didn?t see it when we sat down because it?s dark and under the table. The manager...
The food was enjoyable, however, the service was subpar. It may have been due to the fact that it was the Friday after Thanksgiving. We waited 30 minutes and almost received someone else's order before we even placed ours. Tables were left dirty and unattended for the entire duration of our meal, which made for a chaotic experience. As for the atmosphere, I usually don't criticize people's personal choices, but seeing patrons vape marijuana at the bar was unappealing. Perhaps this is the new vibe of the place and I'm just not the target demographic.
This is one of my favorite bars in Omaha. The best pub food around. Their Cuban sandwich is unrivaled for me, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The Ruben and Nashville Hot Chicken are also tasty. They also have a big selection of local beers too try, and best yet are right next to Beer World if you love something enough to get a pack for home. Love the cozy booths and ambience as well.
Love this place. My dad used to work on the building across the street and would go to the moon for lunch a ton. Now we stop there every time we are in Omaha. Not going to lie that is is pretty classic bar vibes, but the beer is cold and the food amazing! It is worth the visit. Tons of beer on tap and the service is very friendly. This restaurant offers a wide variety of beer and better-than-average bar food. A diverse group of people from Omaha frequent the establishment, but it tends to attract a younger college crowd. The quality of table service can vary, but the bar staff are usually reliable.
Have lived in Omaha for 10 plus years and had never been here before. Was expecting to have the best Reuben ever. It was just okay. Way too much relish. Bartender and atmosphere is a lot of fun. I'm sure we'll be back but probably not for the Reuben.
As expected, food great. Server wonderful. The moon has been here a long time, restaurant, beer garden and more. Blackstone area where Rubens started, of course Moon has great Rubens.
