Mom 89 and I 67 had a great outdoor lunch there on Sunday for my birthday. Asked the server to wear a mask, which he readily did. Lemonade was great not too sweet and freshly made. Mom 's Frisco Burger, on sourdough bread rather than a bun, was properly medium rare and very tasty and juicy. Onion straws under it were actually cut up onion rings, but she liked them. Came with one slice of tomato for two halves ? , 2 pieces of lettuce, no pickles !?! . Mom liked it just fine, but I would have asked for the missing items. My 3 smoked chicken tacos came on mini flour tortillas, with a great balance of the promised fillers and a slightly peppery aioli sauce not too much . We each took home enough...
They only allow groups of five to sit together. We had a party of ten and suggested splitting into two tables with separate checks, but they refused, insisting that only one group could be seated at a time. If there was one table available, the other half of our group couldn’t sit there until our first group was done. Everyone around us seemed just as confused. Restaurants should not operate like this, especially with limited staff. Based on my previous visits, the food is at best mediocre and not worth the strange experience. The only redeeming quality is the comfortable location.
On a brighter note, I wasn't initially interested in the nachos at all. But this place has a relaxed atmosphere in a fantastic location right by the lake. It’s a perfect spot to grab a beer and take a break during a walk. The service was solid, and the terrace is lovely, plus the prices are reasonable. After reflecting on the overall experience, I might just add a star to my rating!
We had a fantastic time! After a long bike ride, we stopped for lunch here. They have $5.00 pitchers of Long Island Iced Tea! The menu offered a lot of great options, and the service was quite good as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we definitely plan to return, possibly this weekend! Great service! And the Aesthetics are beautiful... I mean, you can't go wrong you're sitting off the water. The food was served hot and fresh. I The hummus was the best thing on the menu and the bottomless mimosas were a good choice. Wasn't a fan of most of the items on the menu.
I visited the restaurant on a quieter Wednesday afternoon and evening after work, and I had a wonderful experience. The terrace was calm and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious!
The food was good enough, the waiting staff was even better. Very nice people. I had never been there and I would go back, small interior but the exterior was amazing, only not if it was 100 degrees in the shade!
