I was in the area on the store, and this restaurant was recommended by a local, the exterior makes you hesitate to go inside, but if you were inside the atmosphere was cozy and warm and the staff was fast, very friendly and constantly safe that you had what you needed. the food was from the charts. I had a prime rib steak that was the best I cost in years, and it was accompanied with a beet side dish and mash potatoes that the menu warns you that due to the demand they run out of mash potatoes because it is really homemade and ingenious. Always enjoy and staff is friendly but not cheap restaurant, but it is the best steak house in Del Rio. Get the Tomahawk her shady or a fillet. (FYI Prime Rib has a season on it. Pages and appetizers are also very good. Get the shrimp cocktail! I wish everyone would c for every week/month or maybe changes/complements to their menu in most local restaurants. I don't want to forget the bar they make very good drinks probably best in town.
I've been here before and they always have excellent food. But tonight I ordered the lamb chops, medium rare of course, and they were out of this world!!! The best lamb chops I've ever eaten. I also had the baked sweet potato and a salad. For an appetizer you've got to try the fried pickles. Very tasty!!! I only make it to Del Rio about six times a year but I always make an attempt to eat at Cripple Creek whenever I'm here.
An amazing experience every visit. Most waiters are an explosion to talk and I can't remember their name at the moment, but she was a great person that made them jokes. I recommend the Mozzarella sticks! They are always so crispy and cheeky and yet they are never excessively oily.
