We’ve frequented this place occasionally over 16 years. A bday celebration for 9 brought us back. Bread and dipping oil is awesome. Side Caesar salads are very good. Service was the worst. Not only did he have the personality of a plate of ****, but was a ghost. I had the baked eggplant parm. Comes with nothing. Tasty, with fresh cheese melted on top. Just as my dads lasagne that was awful seemed like the dishes were prepared, frozen, microwaved and then place in oven or under broiler to melt cheese. Lasagna cheese was burnt. Our waiter, James, was very responsive to my need for a lot of water. He also helped me determine what I could order that could be prepared both gluten free and dairy free due to my food allergies. The giant scallops were amazing, I've never had them so tender. The risotto was a bit salty and I could not taste the key lime but I appreciate the chef making a dairy free batch for me. Several of the appetizers and entrees sounded amazing, and I hear the soups are to die for. This was the best dining experience I've had since moving to Fort Myers last year! Siobhan, the waitress/bartender who served me, is a treasure. This restaurant has charm, atmosphere, and comfort. I had a Cristof's Martini, the Southern Bouillabaisse, and Key Lime Pie fantastic quality, so delicious. This is my new go to spot. Highly recommend!
Whether you eat inside or out, the food and service are good! We chose indoors (getting too hot for al fresco), and Betty was our super server. Grouper, Ruben, pecan cranberry salad and a burger were enjoyed. I have never had a bad meal here. Hint...it's a little less noisy in the bar area!
