After trying an Italian on our first night in Paris, which was a MAJOR let down! We came across Croccante.....Holiday saved!! Tiny on space but MASSIVE on authenticity. From the minute we arrived(without a reservation) we were made to feel so welcome. My son wanted...something not on the menu, not a problem. Food was tasty portions more than expected. It is a very small restuarant, so tables are extreemly close. For some reason this works well, so don't let it put you off. My son who isn't a fan of busy/noisy was quite happy. If you want a relief from the abundance of bad food that can be found in Paris restaurants (as in many big cities) you will get it here. Francesco and Antonio have a created an Italian oasis in Paris. This is a casual Italian place.. pizza and pasta are in focus. We went two nights and would have gone more if we only knew. The burrata and Parma/melon appetizers were great. The pasta with lardo was a must. The pasta Bolognese was tip-top. Do not pass up the panna cotta. Thank you gentlemen for the nicest meals and atmosphere we had in Paris. For early eaters, they open at pm which is not usual in Paris.
This little gem is the most authentic Italian restaurant you can find. The wine selection is on point, the pizzas are to die for and as another reviewer wrote the pasta did remind me of my nonna too! Also the tiramisù is the yummiest I've...had in my life! And the wonderful service makes the whole experience Italian
The first time we went we had antipasto, gnocchi and a pasta dish. INCREDIBLE. We can back for a light dinner. We split a small antipasto and a pizza. Once again it was INCREDIBLE. Real Italian food made by real Italians! Not the pseudo pizza...that has invaded Paris

Accueil chaleureux, pâtes supers bonnes et servies rapidement. J'avais pris le menu du jour avec pasta3 à la pescatore, très bien. Le vin , chianti était pas top mais avec de la pizza ça passe. Tiramisu très bon mais pourrait être plus cremeux.
Réservé en dernière minute, Accueil très sympathique, Le Spritz au limoncello est une belle découverte.La carte sent bon la vraie Italie, repas délicieux et excellent conseil pour le vin. Ce vin blanc sarde était délicieux. Nous reviendrons !
The place is very cosy and the food is delicious. The owner is very friendly and will give you many information about the plates or the history behind it. Meals of the day are delicious and everything is homemade, even the bread!
A wonderful friendly welcome followed by courses of tasty food. As a vegetarian I was impressed by the penne pasta with beautifully cooked vegetables. The Sicilian wine was excellent followed by cafe gourmand.
