This was within walking distance from our hotel and looked half decent from the outside plus a cursory glance at the menu. As it was Sunday and the children eat for €3 there were a lot of little people who made a lot of noise and did a lot of miles running around the restaurant. Having said that one of the pleasant aspects of family dining in France is that the kiddies are included. They actually provided us with much entertainment as they made countless visits to the sweet counter and chocolate fountain. The welcome was brisk but friendly, the tables were quite close together and we sat fairly close to the buffet but the decor ambiance were very pleasant. The cold buffet was very good indee...
Staying in a nearby b&b and having arrived on a Sunday pm, we wandered the streets looking for anything that that was open and resembled a half-decent place to eat dinner. Crocodile Restaurant didn 't disappoint! Our kids loved sitting in the train area. Food was good and the all-you-can-eat/drink option included beer and wine! Gratefully received as a stop-off travelling from UK to the Loire valley by car. Can 't imagine that I 'd find myself in this area again, but if I did I 'd definitely consider the Crocodile restaurant!
12 of us (adults and children) came here, food was very quick, cheap deals, free refills on drinks and went for the unlimited dessert option. Nothing bad to say if you want cheap and quick food. Staff didn't know much English (but why should they) there were English menus and at the end of the meal we were given 4 free coins for the gift machine for each of the kids.
The buffet is great fun, the included drinks most welcome, and we had an excellent evening. But in retrospect, the food is not that brilliant, the desserts are probably the highpoint
