I have always enjoyed Sunday dinners here, but I was quite disappointed during my visit today. On March 9, 2017, we had to wait a long time for our lunch, and then we ended up waiting again for our vegetables to arrive. My companion had almost finished her meat and potatoes before the vegetables finally came. Additionally, the serving dishes were messy with overflow, which was unappealing when we received our food. While the food itself was great, today’s experience left me feeling a bit let down.
Came across this little gem completely by accident and so glad we did. Staff are welcoming and friendly, food was the best we have had during our break including the children's meals which were of the same standard as the rest. Would recommend
We had a fantastic Sunday dinner! It was probably the best pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord Bitter I've ever tasted! The staff was friendly and went the extra mile to assist my wife and me, especially given our current situation. Well done!
Lovely friendly staff and Sunday lunch was nice except for the cauliflower cheese as I don't eat cheese and it's always the same each time we have been would like them to change choice of veg
We stayed behind cross keys ,we went for a short break ,we walked in the log fire was burning was ace ,Sunday lunch was amazing,definitely go again x
The food is delicious and feels homemade. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s a great selection of authentic real ales to choose from.
Had a Brilliant Sunday Lunch today food was excellent and the staff was so pleasing will certainly go back there .
Have stayed in the caravan lets quite a few times and had lovely meals, very welcoming, lovely staff, will return.
