Roads!! Those looking for a club-ish, lounge-y bar, you 're in the wrong place. Dive bar anyone? I usually go here with coworkers for lunch or after work meetings . There really isn 't much to say about this place, other than it 's a dive bar, with a lot of regulars who are over 30 (probably over 40, but let 's give them the benefit of the doubt). The regulars here are very friendly and easy to talk to, unlike some of the more hip, young place people. Frankly, they just have better stories and aren 't angry at you for being your age. I’ve been visiting this place for years, and I can’t find a reason to dislike it. They have a pool table, a dartboard, a jukebox, and even a vertical golf game. The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. You might be wondering how good the food at a dive bar can be, but trust me—it’s fantastic. The vibe during the day is completely different from the night. A former friend of mine and I went to this place a couple of times and believe me you aren't missing anything. The quality of woman that frequents this place is not very high. Let's just say that there are more than a few women here that sniff there noses for reasons other then having a cold if you catch my drift. This place is not frequented by people that you would consider marriage material LOL. Don't go here. It's just not a place you would feel comfortable in. It has a bad vibe to be honest with you. Been here twice. Dingy dive bar. I wanted food both times. Once the cook was not there so the bartender said she could do fried things. All came out overcooked. Other time I was just informed the kitchen was closed. No reasoning and it was the middle of the day. If you're bored and can only walk I guess you can try this place. Regulars seem odd
You should definitely go with your expectations in check—don't expect too much, and you won't be disappointed. Pedro is great, but it's not worth visiting when so many items are out of stock. It used to be a fantastic lunch spot, but I miss the old atmosphere.
Good local bar with pretty girls serving the drinks. Food is surprisingly good, place has been around for 80 plus years so they have to be doing something right. Can get busy on weekends but that's not a bad thing per say.
You don't come here to mess around. This is a chill, low key spot to come get some drafts $2! and watch the game. It's a mostly local crowd but as long as you keep to yourself, you'll do fine. Also, heads up: Cash only.
