We were driving from PA to Florida and once we hit South Carolina, we were HUNGRY! I looked up restaurants around where we were and I came across Crossroads BBQ. It was a quick drive off the highway so off we went. I was initially nervous going to this place because it seemed to be an all residential area and I kept thinking If this is out of someone 's home, I 'm not stopping. But we came to a very nice building, seemingly, in the middle of nowhere. I thought, those are always the best places, aren 't they? This place did not disappoint. We walked in and weren 't sure about the menu, but I think the guy behind the counter sensed that and offered an explanation. My husband and I weren 't too...
I had an awesome lunch at Crossroads BBQ in St. George on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024. I got the BBQ plate which included a generous serving of rice, hash, pulled pork, pickles, and pork rinds. Delicious! The sweet tea and banana pudding were great too. There was also an amazing selection of bbq sauce on the table. Prices were fair, place was clean, and the owner (I believe his name was Mr. Thurman) was super friendly. Overall, it was amazing. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend! *Sorry for the delayed review!
Delicious South Carolina pork BBQ! It's a little ways off the interstate, and only open on Saturday, but it's definitely worth it. We got one pulled pork plate, and one rib plate, and they were both great. The pulled pork came with hash, which I had never had before, but it was great! We loved the mustard BBQ sauce! Parking: Big field, plenty of room.
My hubby and I were traveling and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and we came across this bbq place. The restaurant was very clean, the owner was very friendly and made us feel welcomed! Lived in the South my whole life- have had a whole lot of bbq! This was definitely not a let down! Everything was great! The Ribs were excellent! Highly recommend!
Good food. Even kids liked everything we the parents ordered or top of kids meals they had. We'll stop by again when we are driving from the ocean.
They have the best BBQ. Very nice, friendly people. Loved it and going back every Saturday.
