We were very impressed by the efficient and friendly service on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Nothing was too much trouble. I requested a quiet table if possible and felt that the table we had been given fitted that brief. The roast was extremely tasty with a generous portion and we all had extra bottomless Yorkies and gravy. Yummy! We will definitely recommend The Crown to others and will visit again when in the area.
We went to dinner last night as a last resort since everywhere else we tried was full. Fortunately, we ended up making the best choice! We enjoyed a lovely meal with delicious food, attentive service, and friendly staff. Among us, we had ribs, steak, and a chicken burger, all of which were very tasty and reasonably priced.
Last Sunday, my family and I decided to go out for a meal and stumbled upon this restaurant. I can honestly say that the Sunday roast we had as a family was amazing—much better than any carvery we've tried. The service was great, and the food was delicious. Thank you!
