Brilliant Sunday lunch with good friends from Nottingham. Loved all the excellent nosh and so did our friends...phew! Meats were all perfectly cooked and the vegetables were 'done ' just right. Yorkshire puddings with fab gravy went down a treat and the cauliflower cheese was...utterly fantastic! We 'll be back...soon.
Had a lovely meal this evening. All home cooked food. I had the gammon, other half had sirloin steak with black pudding and blue cheese. Garlic mushroom starters and chicken goujons. Will be returning for sure. Staff so lovely, warm and friendly. Great food, Great night, great pub!
Sunday lunch was ok apart from the mint sauce I put on, it smelled fusty. Advertises real ale (which we always look for when booking) and pub has a big sign outside says fine selection of real ales when in actual fact it's just one, Timothy Taylors landlord

Smashing people and even better, the food is 1st class with a good choice on the menu. The price is very fair on Thursdays. You will agree with me I'm sure.
