I can't speak for the rooms as I didn't stay there, It was just a stop off for a drink. Unfortunately, food isn't served Mondays or Tuesdays, so we had to make do with a bag of crisps. Very quiet around lunch time on Tuesday. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful, pointing out some nice walks in the area. Set In a lovely country village location, with the river Nene I believe) close by. The Inn has a thatched roof and, although I didn't find out much about the history of the place, it did have a very oldly feel about it. Will be going back for a meal sometime. This restaurant is fantastic. The atmosphere is welcoming, the interior is beautiful, and it's very roomy. The only thing preventing me from giving it a perfect score is that I didn't have the chance to try the food. If the food is also amazing, I would be more than willing to give it a higher rating.

we went to the carnival for a carousel. Although we came later in the afternoon, they still ensured that there was a lot of food for us and it was kept fresh. the service was brilliant and the food tasted super. very recommended for a Sunday dinner.

It was 6.30pm we were hungry, in need of sustenance were not disappointed. Parked bikes at the front, ordered a shandy at the bar asked for a table were ushered into the frontage. Service was quick accurate
I just had a great meal in the crown inn gayton. the steak was made to perfection, portion great as I was hungry and eating nice and hot. compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.
We had a lovely meal this evening, food was great, very friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend to those thinking of going. Will definitely be returning, thank you.
