My companion and I stopped at this café for lunch before taking a stroll along the canal. Despite its small size, the café offers a wide variety of food options. We ordered paninis - one with cheese, bacon, and mushrooms, and the other with Mediterranean vegetables and cheese. The paninis were served with a side of salad and coleslaw, and they were incredibly tasty and clearly made freshly. The café has a welcoming atmosphere and appears to be popular among the locals. If we lived nearby, we would definitely become regular customers.
Just needed ‘something’ mid afternoon. Mars den has many providers. Opted for Crumbals, and glad we did! Friendly welcome. Excellent cake selection incl gluten free and vegan. Generous portions. Good selection of hot drinks incl Italian coffees, teas etc. V small step on way in. Toilets wheelchair accessible. Dogs welcomed filled a water bowl for a dog when we were in. Serves all day breakfast too. Reasonably priced. Would recommend it.
What a little gem this place is!! When visiting marsden I would highly recommend stopping off for a quick bite to eat here. Always friendly staff and have a smile on their faces. The food is delish!! Especially the chicken tikka flatbread, plenty of chicken and tasty sauce. That good I’ve had it twice in a week!! The blueberry pie with cream was amazing too!!
What a lovely all round experience this was. The food was great, sausage bap and veggie breakfast, tea and coffee also excellent. What made it special was the genuine friendliness of the owner. My family and I stopped at this restaurant after a walk along the canal to Marsden and were immediately impressed by the friendly staff. The excellent service was complemented by a wonderful selection of homemade cakes and delicious coffee. I highly recommend this place.
Popped by for lunch last week and it was lovely. Nice big salad with the paninis. Waitress was very friendly, quick service. Would eat here again :O)
