Always have had positive experiences at this location but tonight I am inspired to write a review. I’m only inspired by outstanding or abominable service. I walked in at 8:54pm feeling horrible as they were sweeping the floor and cleaning up for the night. However, they invited me in and were extremely cordial and had positive attitudes. Wished me a good night, etc. everything was extremely fresh. I had a bad night and they turned it around with their welcoming attitude!
Really enjoyed the food, the reason why I'm taking a star off is due to how oddly misshapen the bowls are. I don't know if they were trying to go for something avante-garden with them, but with the way it's shaped combined with the large forks to be paired with them, I almost sent my food flying into my friend's face more than once due to the way the bowl distributes it's weight. Still, good experience overall.
Food was great. I had the shrimp pizza and my wife had the mushroom pizza. The real name was much fancier and sounded more appetizing but that’s all I remember. I would highly recommend. Not cheap but this is the city and this is Clayton. Great atmosphere and the staff was very nice. BEST THING OF ALL IS THAT THEY CHECKED MY ID when I paid with my debit card!!
One day, I decided to try this place, and I’ve been there repeatedly since then. Always the same fresh ingredients as I experienced the first time. I am naturally a salad lover, but they’ll make those be one who aren’t one. I’m sure they sell other dishes, lol, but I can testify to the salads and their house made dressing for sure. Enjoyed interacting with all the workers , they were very polite and explain how to order your salads which I ordered, did not experience their Pizza at this time. Lunchtime was a little busy and they moved you through the line very quickly. Clientele was nicely dressed and interesting.
