Went here on a Sunday evening. Got a table and got served quickly. I ordered the satay chicken. Id say this is the worst satay I have ever received at a restaurant. All packet stays at the Supermarket are better than what I had received. No flavour. Very minimal sauce. Minimal chicken vs overload of vegetables. Got the dish taken back and asked for more sauce. This bought the dish to just edible. My partner got the pumpkin risotto. Except that was not arrived. The host had obviously stuffed that order up. Waited 15 min to get the meal re done. That dish finally came out. Once again. Poor flavour. We think it had seafood in with chicken. This was not stated on the menu and my wife can not eat...
A few friends in Sydney for a weekend of music. We're staying in Zetland and have eaten at the Crystal Cafe before. Solid food, well priced and friendly service. So it was in the past, and mostly remains so today.Two of us order the blackboard steak deal, and a good deal it is - they have no complaints. The third has the lamb shank and is well pleased, the meat falling from the bone. It's accompanied by a nice sweet potato mash.Our waiter is theatrically friendly, calling everyone "love" or "darling". It's amusing if a little confounding :)All in all a good, if unspectacular meal. Would go back.
Group of seven, seating quickly arranged, water, wine list and menu quickly provided. There was a reasonable wine selection on offer and a fairly good variety on the menu. Orders placed and requests provided in good time. The meals were very tasty, simple fare and we all were well satisfied

I live nearby and I used to be a regular customer until now. The manager was very disrespectful. When we nicely asked to give them some feedback she said "I don't need any advice".
Always love their breakfast, with the new menu its even better. If you drop by for lunch or dinner, give the t-bone a miss. The salmon avocado and asahi is fabulous.
Ordered takeaway - food smelled like it had been cooked with a rotton onion. Couldn't stop dry reaching. Straight in the bin. I'd avoid this place.
