As big fans of Tapas we decided to try Cubana's whislt visiting Sheffield for a weekend break. The restaurant is well set out if not a little to overcrowed with tables, certainly utilising maximum floor space which as understandable as that is from a business perspective it takes away from that personal space that diners/couples look for when dining out. So this review is 5 stars because of one reason, Ethan and the incredible team behind the amazing rum selection they have. The food would probably land around a 7.6 out of 10, some dishes were great, others, well, not so much. I would suggest skipping the Albondigas and the Chorizo dishes, but definitely get the Risotto, which was fantastic, and the Gambas Tigres. Also don't feel bad about salting the food, all of our dishes seemed devoid of salt. I ended up trying 5 different rums in all, I can't handle more than that as I am a bit of a lightweight. AVOID!!!! if you are planning a group booking or bottomless brunch AVOID!!! We came here yesterday as a group of 14 for Bottomless Brunch all went well at first they were Friendly when I first went in to set some decorations but when the brunch started the problems began.. we all paid nearly £50 for a deluxe bottomless brunch, drink selection was disappointing service was SLOW. People were thirsty drinks definitely weren’t ‘bottomless’ we had one glass of nasty prosecco on arrival a badly tasting sangria.. 2 drinks each and then they stopped.. staff point blank refused to bring more unless glasses were all empty (most people didn’t drink the sangrias as they were not pleasant we highlighted...
I went here a while ago with my partner and we decided this place because of the dishes they had on their menu! I would suggest to look beforehand to see what you'd like! Some dishes are similar so see which version would be more your taste! Everything had a lot of flavour, which is always lovely! They treated us very nicely and the staff were very helpful! Definitely a recommend if you're fancying tapas! The restaurant is upstairs so don't panic if you don't see anyone downstairs when you first come into the door! (When we visited, we went upstairs to get seated and served).

Cubana .. very lively tonight, well enjoyed the evening, entertainment was good (John Riley) tribute singer Elton john. Great food atmosphere. Really exciting place to visit pop in to learn some good salsa dancing. Dance the night away excellent experience Food was a 9 Dished mixed tapas, Enjoy
From the experience last time, Paella is great, music too. But they are not open today because of the snowreally traveled a long way to get here. Hope they can publish something in advance, not just a piece of paper on the door. Advice: call before you come here especially during bad weather
Good atmosphere at this City Centre tapas bar. The food arrived very quickly which was ideal as we wanted something in a timely fashion before heading off to nearby City Hall for a comedy night. The tapas is to be recommended And we were a walk in so it may not always be necessary to book.
Absolutely loved it. First time I've been and the vibe was so good. Smiles everywhere! The staff were really nice too. Honestly, I can't wait til next time! Oh and the cocktails were b-e-a-u-tiful!
