I rang in the day to see if I could get a booking for two at 6 - 630pm, and was told they do not take bookings for 2, only for 4 or more and that I would have no problems if we came at that time. Arrived at 6.10pm and was only offered a high table which had 5 people on it and he was going to seat us perched on the end. The people already on the table didn't look too pleased that he was going to put us there. There was another table in the corner at the back with a baby. Everyone was crammed in. Neither table suited us. He said go across the road to our bar as they serve the same food. Second piece of incorrect information as the menu is very limited. The wines by the glass were also limited,...
We have been to this restaurant more than I would like to admit, but the food is brilliant and we always have a great time. We have two kids (9 & 3) and the staff are always so wonderful with them. It is noisy, the staff are quick, but when you have kids, this is the perfect place to be as you never intend on staying for a long time! The best thing they did was allow bookings for tables of 4 or more - no more waiting around for a table! Can't wait to go back.
I'm Italian but I've been living abroad for almost 5 years right now. I tried many pizzas places since I left my country and I never been so satisfied as at Cucina & Co. Amazing well done pizza, the taste and flavours brought me back memories of what is a real pizza. Service was excellent, truly Italian old style. If you don't know where to go tonight, give it a try, you'll be amazed! Thanks to look after us guys, you've been awesome! Simo
Been a few times early in the year before the reviews - was excellent. Sadly now after the reviews it is extremely busy, quality gone down ,prices gone up and some nice things like the original salads off the menu .Cant even get a menu on line and impossible to hear staff on the phone - have given up in search of the next secret location to have good food at reasonable prices and some sense of relaxing ambiance.Good bye from us . Service was very poor. Pizzas came out before entrees.Pizzas are soggy in the middle.When you are paying an average of $25 you expect a lot more.Tables are very small and you are seated like sardines.Wines are overpriced for a pizza restaurant. Waiters were very presumptuous and asked if we wanted our change.When you pay restaurant prices in a pizza shop you expect a lot more.
Given the wrong order on pickup. What a pain. By the time I took it back my correct order pizza was cold and the short pasta cool and gluggy. Should have redone mine so that I could have a decent food experience. Pizza would have been great if it wasn't stone cold. Two mistakes. Need more customer empathy. Not happy.
I've been at Cucina & Co three times in lessthan a month. The menu is short and simple but has everything I usually crave for; from the antipasti and pizzas to an extraordinary nonna style's veal cotoletta. Staff is very friendly and 100% Italian. Certified.
