We had a family birthday carvery for 20 people on a very busy Easter Sunday, and it was a great experience. The staff were wonderful, and the food across all three courses was excellent. The carvery had a fantastic selection and generous portions, including delicious vegan options. Additionally, the drinks were fairly priced. Everyone mentioned they would love to return. A big thank you to Paul and the entire team!
First class, as always! It's great to have our local spot back. I can't fault the food; it's still excellent. However, the service could use some improvement, to be honest. I observed whether the staff eat or just stop by for a drink. The fact that they had water ready for my dog without me even asking speaks volumes about their attitude as a whole.
This charming old-fashioned country pub offers fantastic pub food, ranging from hearty dishes like burgers and minced meat to comforting selections like hutten cake and steak and chips. It's great value for money and definitely a worthwhile stop on your way to Wrexham!
