Food was excellent. The elections were great. Had the Tandoori Combo, aloo tikki, lamb poured. Chana sagwala, naan,roti and puri. Everything was great except the fact that the AC didn't work and was asked that it was broken all summer. That's the only reason I took a star away. Call them and ask if it's repaired when you land in the summer. If not only order, go or get it delivered. So far our favorite restaurant Desi in Suffolk County. Update: Winterbuffet was excellent. Innertemp was at 66, which is good. Loved the blood and the curry chicken here. Naan bread is kind of strange here, it comes with buffet, but if you go for a la carte order Roti instead.
They have a lot of veganized options but to find the vegan menu on google or door dash you have to search “vegan seeds of India” it’s the same place though. I had the tofu masala; the sauce was really good but the tofu was silken tofu and just had no taste. I think it would have been a lot better with seasoned firm tofu. The samosas were delicious as well as the sauce that came with it. I’d definitely be willing to try something from here again.

I just delivered food, so I can't talk to how an in-restaurant experience is. The food is excellent. I agree that some of the portions for the price appear really small, especially for the chicken. I would order more often if the prices were lower (or proportions larger; we have teenagers, so it will be expensive enough to buy). I speak in Chinese foods because at least half the time if I would rather order from this place.
