I would give 4 or 5 stars for the food but im not because of the lady on the till. I ordered momo and she said it would be 30 min. I waited an hour and when i went up to her and asked if its ready yet i didn't want to keep asking her when the food was gonna be ready). She said yes it has been ready for ages in tone as if im stupid for not coming earlier. I asked why she didn't tell me or my friends. She started shrugging her shoulders and said you're sitting there, it was ready, you should have come. What is that nonsense aunty? The lady seemed to be of eastern european background. Also she forgot to pack one of my friend's order.
We have ordered from Curry King on 4 occasions and we have never received the free gift offered on the web page. However, we have not complained as the food was generally good. Today when we got a delivery, a started was missing. We phoned to let them know. The first time we called, they hung up on us as soon as we told them the issue. The second time they told that they would send a replacement. It is now coming up to 3 hours later and no sign of it arriving. That we be the last order from us. I recommend avoiding ordering from here is you want to receive what you order.
We have been ordering from these guys for a while. It used to be consistently amazing and we got free popadoms and things with it. The last few months we have ordered from here they have continually got orders wrong. Forgot food in our orders, when we called to fix the issues we were met with rudeness and complete lack of giving a s**t. I was disgusted with this given how expensive it was. We will no longer use this place and will be going somewhere else. Would have given no stars if I could. Its a shame the place was clearly taken over and not for the better.
We have been ordering from here for some time as it used to be really nice and the meals arrived with a few extras. The last few months it has gone downhill, price has gone up a lot, no extras and tastes different. I think they must have changed chefs. There was a telephone change a few months ago and since then the Korma that I always have has tasted different, in fact the last was not nice at all. We will not be ordering from here again. Delivery was over an hour late and items were missing! As such the food was cold!! When speaking to the takeaway they denied they had been ordered dispite them being clearly on the menu!! Outrageous behaviour and I will never use them again.
Only thing in its favour was it was hot, got one portion of rice when I paid for two, the korma was watery and the veg korma was made from frozen veg, won’t bust a gut to use them again dreadful.
Absolutely beautiful food. Our favourite are the pakoras and biryani. I will 100% be eating there again
