Recently in Brisbane, staying in Tenereffe and looking for a latish evening meal, found the Cutty Sark and so pleased that we did. As a vegetarian, my options can sometimes be limited but not here, the tempura zucchini flowers were to die for and my husband had the chargriiled lamb which he said was superb too; complimented by a terrific NZ Sauvignon Blanc. The service was excellent, the staff were prompt and very pleasant including a friendly chat with the Chef and although we were clearly at the later end of the day (the paella which appeared to be a house specialty was all gone), we never felt rushed to leave. The food and service are a step above anything else along the competing Teneriffe strip and Gasworks. It is right on the Brisbane river and it was not a problem that we lunched until nearly 5pm drinking cocktails which were amazing. The lovely young chef Matt Lee is certainly going places.The food is Spanish inspired modern Australian, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The scallops looked like a work of art but my fav was the soft shell crab served with chili salsa and fennel salad.I can't wait to go back again.
This restaurant sits on a beautiful trip to the Brisbane River and at night comes alive . This is always been one of my favourite spots so when I saw that the Cutty Sark had opened we had to come and give it a try . We ate from a chef selection menu and everything was just fantastic from the oyster to the steak to the dessert, the food was excellent. Lovely night great food good service beautiful view great company how could you go wrong . Do yourself a favour and visit the Cutty Sark restaurant for your next night out .

The food, service and scenery was great, faultless. Organised a party for12 people, ease of booking was great. They looked after us prior and during the night. We sat in the private room, service was amazing. Good came out altogether and was delicious. Highly recommend, would definitely go back. Found parking easy as well as they had their own car park. Nice views of the river.
Had delicious vegetarian food here with one of the best river views..!! Tempura Zucchini flower and chocolate hazelnut cake was amazing... Best one i have ever had... Awesome food, excellent Service and elegant presentation...!! Have tried many restaurants here but can say this one is The BEST...!! Highly recommend this restaurant..
We dined as a large group (50 people) and were so impressed by the food and the service provided by this restaurant. The paella was delicious, served by a friendly personable young chef. The view of the river is just beautiful and our young teenagers were impressed by the delicious churros for dessert.
We enjoyed the atmosphere, the attentiveness of staff, the food quality, price and flavor. The seafood paella is excellent. The beef melts in your mouth and the chorizo is excellent. We appreciated meeting the chef who went to some trouble to advise regarding entrees and he read us right.

The food was good, if only the serving sizes were larger. Service was excellent! I ordered oysters for appetizer, lamb for entree, paella for mains and chocolate hazelnut sponge for dessert.
Food and service was outstanding would recommend for breakfast lunch or dinner .Paella was excellent!!!!!!
