Order chicken wings for take out. The place was nice, clean and a small town feeling. The take out service was quick. A little more friendliness would have made the customers welcome more. There are enough choice for drinks and the place offers a different specials everyday. The food was good as I had ordered the wings from this place very first time and am very particular about my wings. Ordered dry hot well done and it was nice and crisp and excellent. I will certainly will use this outfit again, might even bring my wife to join me and do a sit in eat for a weekday evg dinner. Keep it up with your out fit. It is a good service to our small community.
This bar caters to the local drunks, this is definitely not family a oriented bar/restaurant considering how many fights occur at this bar due to the fact they serve customers way past the point of intoxication on a regular basis. They don 't cut people off because of there lack of business, but then people fight and prevents them from getting any business.. What gets to me as a paying customer the most is the lack of customer service. Recently when I had gotten a burger from this restaurant that was uncooked I returned it to the server but I was approached by the owner who advised me to take my business else ware because I was to picky .

I recently went back to cw coops for the first time in a while. It is conveniently located near my work so I was able to walk here for lunch while my car was getting worked on. I ordered a pint of Coors Banquet which was cold and fresh. I had some chicken tenders coated in their creole jerk sauce which was amazingly good. It came with a side of fried which were okay...nothing special...I used them to soak up the sauce left over on my plate from the tenders. Portion was very good and price good as well. I did feel a bit sorry for the 1 waitress/bartender working the Friday lunch shift, although she did a great job considering.
I've came here twice since I lived in Holland landing and both times the food was awful. First time I got just a poutine and my husband got wings. The poutine was disgusting and the wings were way over cooked. The second time we went there I got fish and chips and he got wings again. His wings were good. But my fish was disgusting it wasn't even fully cooked. It was still frozen in the middle. It was terrible. They took the food off my bill but still was a bit ridiculous. The waitress was nice both times. But don't think I would go back there to eat.
The service was excellent, food hot and ready . We enjoyed our visit in the summer and went back this September. We added a salad to the wings and it's great pub food.
I went in for the chicken wings not the beer....and I wasn't a huge fan but each to his own. It is getting a new look so ,maybe I will try again.
Friendly, small town, wings were good, great flavours, sweet potato fries were yummy too. The drink prices are good.
I always enjoy my visit to C. W Coops. Food is fantastic and the owners are very friendly along with the staff.
