We visited this restaurant on our way “home” (Portugal) from Sevilla. It was very hard to get any food at all before 20.30. Eventually we decided too try this restaurant. When we got the menu, the waiter explained too us what they didn’t have.. which was 70% of the menu. We decided to go for salami, chorizo and a sup for starters. The salami and chorizo was ok. The sup was the small highlight for me. For the main course we shared wok with pork. We took a bite each and found out that the pork was raw. We ask for the bill and left. This was our worst dinner experience!
The problem with Huelva is that it is not a tourist town and we found it difficult to get anything to eat between 4pm and 8pm. This restaurant is open all day and serves excellent Tapas. We went there twice, once in the evening where we tasted some delicious dried Tuna. The following lunchtime we returned for Tapas and unfortunately had to wait until the chef started work at 1.30pm before the full range of Tapas was available. This is the reason for 4 stars and not 5.
We kept coming back to this first rate restaurant. The menu offers a great range of local food all freshly prepared. You should try their home made pate and their croquettes but steak, duck and fresh fish are also really good ! They have an English menu but, hopefully, English speaking Antonio will be on hand to help you make the best choice. If you are in Huelva lunch or dinner) find this place !
Restaurante situado en la calle principal de la ciudad, es un lugar agradable y original por tener en el interior mesas a dos alturas. También dispone de amplia zona de terraza. Aunque la carta no es muy extensa tiene un poco de todo. Los platos con bonita presentación y con buena relación calidad-precio. Buena atención y servicio, muy atentos en todo momento. Siendo clientes de Los Palacios y Villafranca (Sevilla), hemos comido espectacular, una cena de 10, precios económicos con productos de calidad. En especial destacar el servicio por parte de Jose Manuel el cual demuestra profesionalidad, simpatía y pasión por el oficio. Una casa más a la que visitar sin errar.
La comida estaba bien, correcta. Pero el servicio la verdad es que, especialmente del primero que nos atendió, dejó mucho que desear. Después los otros compañeros lo arreglaron, pero estando de cara al público creo que se debe tener otra actitud.
Mi hija y yo disfrutamos de una cena riquísima y de un servicio excelente. El personal es amable y atento. La comida buenísima.
La comida está buena pero me parece que el precio está por encima de los de esa zona y para la cantidad que ponen.
