The staff’s rudeness was also notable. For instance: 1) the older female greeter who claimed that the empty tables right outside the restaurant were off-limits for takeout, but, just this once, would allow us to sit there; 2) the younger female barback who, when we asked for water—despite standing right next to the water tap—told us we could get it from the bathroom sink. After I urged her to fill our glasses (who wants to bring food and utensils into a restroom?), she tried to justify her response by saying the water is the same. To top it off, when we went to get extra napkins and a knife after being ignored, she snapped at us.
They also charge a 4% fee for using credit cards with no sign...
I usually read reviews before trying out a new restaurant. I'm visiting this place for the first time tomorrow, and I have never seen such an absurd collection of negative reviews for any restaurant. Many of the comments seem to come from people who just love to complain, often referred to as the "entitled" crowd. I want to clarify that I have no connection to this restaurant, and I plan to return later to update my opinion with a fair and honest perspective.
The ambiance is quite unusual. From the outside, it often appears empty or like it's closed. A friend persuaded me to step inside. To the right is a restaurant offering fantastic food and a lovely bar; to the left, there's a deli takeout counter, though I'm not sure why. The back area is only partially occupied. However, the food and service in the restaurant section are truly outstanding. I definitely recommend it.
Had a sandwich here a few weeks ago that was out of this world. Since then I've gone out of my way two more times to try and eat here sinde then but the girl behind the counter tells me it's not 12 o'clock yet at 11:40am. Who orders an egg sandwich at 11:40am in 90 degree heat? Is there a time based lock on the deli meat that doesn't activate until noon?

one of my local faves. love the cooking and very casual atmosphere .. low key, neighborly and good at what they do. plus surprisingly good selection of IPA's, draft and cans. can be a bit of wait for service at times, as they are not overstaffed. but so what ... chill out, it's Piermont.
Best pizza in rockland!! My husband and I devoured a pizza to ourselves. The salad pizza is incredible all of their ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. They have local beers, amazing local ice cream, and a lovely, chill staff!Go here!!!!! ?
This restaurant is convenient for me since I live nearby. The food is pretty good, but I've had experiences with rude service from the staff on multiple occasions. Because of that, I’ve decided not to return. Food rating: 4/5.
They prepare some of their own food, such as their delicious roast beef, and you can really taste the difference. Their sandwiches are incredible as well. I highly recommend this place! Rating: 5/5 for the food.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are reasonable for Piermont. The pizza is fantastic!
