This place is classic diner in all the aspects. Best Mac n cheese I've had in a long time. The entire meal was delicious. Hamburger steak with onions, Mac n cheese, green beans, and rice n gravy, and corn bread. This place is nothing elaborate, but the people are welcoming and friendly, and the food was delicious. 2 lunch plates and 2 sweet teas $24. They have daily lunch specials and each plate comes with choice of meat and 3 sides. Breakfast starts at 6 AM. Parking: Not a lot, but it's free
The BLT was delightful, but I find it unacceptable when waitresses discuss customers after they leave—it's really none of our business. Occasionally, the fish can have an overpowering taste. There are methods to mitigate this, such as proper freezing and thawing techniques. Additionally, there are great tricks to enhance the fish flavor or reduce its fishiness, like using lemon or yogurt, especially Greek yogurt. Overall, I had a nice experience!
I wasn't comfortable going in to get a BLT while the waitresses were chatting about the customers who had just left. They kept going on and on about them, and it made me wonder what they might be saying about us once we left. It's not great practice to discuss customers like that; I think waitresses should be more discreet.
Like many really good restaurants, this one wasn’t much for appearance or atmosphere. However, the western omelet I ordered was the biggest and best I had in awhile. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Beef was very good and tender. Mac and cheese was absolutely homemade and good as well. Not a huge fan of the mashed potatoes but that is just personal taste. Large main portion. There is a daily special each day.
Our waitress was great, the food and dining experience not so much. I read lots of great things about this place, but for my family's own experience it was a one time visit for us.
