Went to have our anniversary dinner there and it was very disappointing. After 1 1/2 hour wait for dinner, we had to leave without eating to make our 7 pm show at Paper Mill. Service was exceptionally slow. Never saw a manager. No one ever apologized or offered to take our check for salads/soda. We were told they were tied up with a big party. People inside were waiting forever for dinners. It's a shame because it's a lovely, little place and we were so looking forward to the homemade pasta as advertised. There's also no alcohol service, which we didn't know, so we didn't bring a bottle. They did offer to call a local store to have it delivered.
Slow service post-Christmas. No black linguine, so regular linguine would have been fine. Then they didn't have regular linguine. How about spaghetti. Okay. Sorry the crab meat portion of that dish is not available, so how about salmon with clams? Sure. So I finally got Mussels with salmon, shrimp and spaghetti instead of Black linguine with crab meat, shrimp and clams. I think the bread may have been from Christmas Eve. Probably, won't go back. Too many other choices in Millburn. The four others in the group said it was okay. Not bad, not great, just okay.

Ich bestellte Bronzino und die Portion war sehr klein. Ich bekam nur kleine Brokkoli und Speerbratkartoffeln, nicht einmal eine ganze Kartoffel. . Ich sagte dem Kellner, wir wollten nicht gehetzt werden. Wir hatten eine Reservierung bei und waren an einem Samstagabend fertig. Ich kann zurückgehen, wenn ich keinen Hunger habe und es eilig habe
we weren't there in time. I was very surprised that it was overcrowded on a Saturday night at 18 o'clock. the brot was not good and the meal was vaccinated. I ordered bronzino and the part was very small. I only have 2 small stones of brokkoli and 3 speerbread kartoffeln not even a whole kartoffel. I told him waiter, we didn't want to be rushed. .we had a reservation at 6 and was completed at 645 on Saturday night. I can go back if I'm not hungry and I'm in a hurry.

Appetizer advertised buffalo mozzarella, it was not. The original portion was so small we had to send it back, they brought a larger one finally. I asked for garlic bread, I got sliced, toasted bread. The main dishes were good, portions ok, but even though they have gluten free pasta, they have nothing gluten free to add to it. It was disappointing to say the least.
Food was good especially for the price. Decor nice and so was service. Although there was a problem with our Open Table reservation and our name wasn't on the list they did seat us. I did show them our confirmation. This place is popular with the playhouse crowd so be prepared that early reservations are booked and may slow things down a bite before 7 pm.
great mood and delicious food. silvester was our first time in da nico. the caesar salat, rock steak and huh with coward in balsamic reduction were amazing. the service was attentive. all 4 of our children from 8 to 14 enjoyed the meal without complaining and that speaks volume! we will definitely come back.
beautiful restaurant easy from the busy road. the best bronzino I had one because. tried as if I were back in italia! portions are generous and service-friendly. recommend it for pre-theater meals.

Nice Restaurant in walking distance to the Papermill Playhouse. The food was good, portions are small for the price. I had the special for that evening, rabbit in a tasty light sauce over pasta.
4 of us had preshow dinner. Mussels with red sauce; salads; vegetables soup puree. All perfect. Dinners were varied, including squid ink linguini. Also all enjoyed! Good service. Will return.
