Daddy O's for me was a discovery many years back. The first time coming here felt like I should have known about it sooner. My friends and I were seated right away as we came in and had great seats. The layout is very durable especially for a large amount which was a big plus for us. There is also another room for additional seating and even outside. The service and food were great, but I found most of the items to be a bit pricey for my liking. I ordered the Daddy O's Cheeseburger medium rare and was very impressed with the taste and juiciness. That I'd recommend to anyone. Due to COVID restrictions, we were only provided with one menu. We then asked for another one since we had a big party...
Got there at 3pm sunday. 1 person at a table in the dining room 1 person at the bar . took 1/2 hour to get drinks, asked server for water 3 times. finally asked bus boy for water, he brought it right away. took server another 1/2 hour to take our orders for food. Worst service I've had in a long time. Again not busy at all. Just a lazy server who did not care about the customers. Only us and 1 other table out side. Hopefully management will correct this. Lovely, homely tavern where locals revel familiarly with one another. Very friendly barmaid. Gorgeous fish tank at the entrance with vibrantly blue fish. Free, fast passworded wi-fi. Ample parking outside, and nearby runs the Dutchess County Rail Trail, which also offers more nearby (free) parking. In May 2019, the Dutchess County Libertarian Party convened here.
Kevin is everything you want from a waiter! Friendly, attentive, and very gracious. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was delicious. The Godfather pasta which was enormous and really tasty, and the wrap special that my wife also really enjoyed. Underrated Diner, 10 outta 10, would add more points if I could for Kevin. On our way up to Nieverville New York we decided to find someplace different for lunch. We stopped in Hopewell Junction and found this great spot. Food was good French Dip was very good. Our server was top notch I wish I would have gotten his name. He was the best. If you are up that way try it Big menu
Very cozy, family friendly restaurant. The burger was great and included fries and onion rings. My 14yr son got a huge plate of pasta that looked amazing. We took a decent amount of it home due to how large the portions were. Would definitely go back!
We had lunch today and it was fantastic!! I had the mushroom Provolone Burger my lady had a Cobb salad with chicken. The service was fast and Lori our server was excellent! Can't wait to come back and we definitely recommend this place.

Friday night 8:45pm refused service, we were told everything was already shut down. They can't be very good if they're closing up that early on a Friday night.
