I’ll start with a positive—the pizza was good, I sampled a thin crust cheese and sausage. Made me wish I ordered a pizza. The night would have been so much better. I was part of a party of 8. Our waiter was nice but his voice did not carry well over the noise of the restaurant. He took our orders without writing them down, then came back three times to clarify. Calamari and Tot-chos appetizers. Basic. Pretty good. My entree was supposed to be Shrimp Pasta with Pesto Sauce. I received Seafood with White Wine Sauce. The first time we went here, everything was good. This time around, not so great. We brought my elderly parents here and asked for a table to make it easier for them to get in and out. The only thing they were able to offer us was a corner booth. My parents ordered Sprite, but it was flat/missing simple syrup. Instead of trying to fix it, the waitress offered to change it to something else, so they ended up with orange juice. We ordered the pound of calamari, and that was rubbery. The thin crust cheese and pepperoni was ok, and so was the DAG pizza. The top of the pizza had trouble staying on. The spicy Rita was great. After taking our order, we never saw our waitress again. The employees, with the exception of the host, were barely visible. We were checked out at the bar, and then the bar tender(s) disappeared even though there were people sitting at the bar which didn't effect us as we were only picking up food but it was odd that nobody was helping customers. We arrived a little early, so we waited for our food, which arrived on time, but they forgot our salad. When i went back to pick it up, it still took another 5 minutes after they knew I was there to pick it up, which tells me that they didn't make it the first time. At least the food was good! Parking: Very tight parking lot with not a lot of spaces.
This place is what you call mid at best. Nothing stands out, but yet it 's not bad either. I recommend going on Wednesday because you get 50% off on pizza, this is the only way it 's worth it at all. Plus, if you go early, you can get a discount on the appetizer as a happy hour deal, so then it 's really worth it. The ambiance is nice, parking is not bad, good service, they just need to up their game on flavor and taste.

We stood at the doorway waiting to be seated for maybe 3-5 mins. No one greeted us. My wife even walked in to try to get someone’s attention, nothing. When she walked back we walked out. The worst feeling especially after a long morning of house work, and hangry at that point. I’m sure this was a one off, but these one-offs turn people off from returning back to restaurants. Management, FYI.
The good, bad, beautiful ugly (read to the ugly portion): goat cheese/marinara nice helping. Very Skimpy martinis marinara is bland at best. Atmosphere decent. Bartender added WATER to my dirty martini when the gin bottle emptied instead of opening a new bottle (she tried to ‘shield’ it but I had a view). This is unprofessional, sneaky, dishonest plain wrong. We will not be back.
Gourmet produce! Best salads in Chicagoland area. You can taste every ingredient even with dressing on! Is there a produce farm in the back? Lol. Superb! You can't go wrong with a dags salad! YES best pizza too!
Excellent pizza as always, but rarely saw our server which was surprising because it was a slow Sunday afternoon with very few customers. We were a party of 8 with reservations. Very out of character for Dags.
