Great Japanese restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. There?s a ton of dog-friendly outdoor seating available; there?s plenty of indoor seating as well and a bar with two TVs. I came at 8pm on a Friday night and it was pretty lively andcrowded. There were tables available inside but it was such a nice night and I had a dog so we got on the waitlist to be seatedoutside which took about 20 minutes. It would have been sooner but I think the hostess forgot about us and, after seeing thatthere were tables available, I went inside to tell her and we were seated right away. Food: we got tonkatsu ramen and some rolls— both great! The ramen broth was kind of creamy (in a bone brothy way but very light. My favorite roll was the spicy salmon— it was so flavorful!! Service: this may be because we had an early dinner, but the staff was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and sweet— I think that’s what really took our experience to the next level!! Atmosphere: we sat outside with our dog (we called first and they were welcoming of her!! and loved the individual booth style. I had dinner at this place for the third time with my friends last night, and I must say that this is the best Asian restaurant in Long Island City, hands down!
