Dai Ichi has been our most trusted and frequented sushi restaurant in Mississauga. Located near us in the southwestern part of the city, it is truly a gem and a delight. We have only eaten on the restaurant once, but prefer to order our selections and pick them up to bring home and eat in a quieter, more private environment. The staff are unfailingly polite and friendly and, more often than not, our meals are ready for pickup on time.They have such unique specialty Japanese style sushi rolls, as well as some truly excellent Korean fare, such as pork bone soup, homemade kimchi, bibimbap and our recent favourite, whe dup bap. This is our favourite sushi restaurant in Mississauga. We dine in or take out on a bi-weekly basis.The food is fresh and reasonably priced for the quality. The sushi here is the best I've had, and the tempura is phenomenal. The service is fast. Dai Ichi is located in a sketchy looking strip mall, but inside the restaurant it is clean and cozy with adorable booths that provide privacy.The staff is also very friendly, attentive and will make substitutions when requested. For instance, I always request the Fire Caterpillar with spicy tuna instead of the spicy salmon.
whilst staying with friends in mississauga i went to one of the best sushi restaurants i have ever been to.It helped that my friends were regulars but they did not prepare me for the portions and the quality of the food on offer.In our own little booth or at the bar the service and the food was impeccable.excellent spring rolls and multiple kinds of sushi and saki served at just the right warm temperature.We all had seconds.parking right outside,very reasonable price and a very friendly and homely atmosphere.recommended
Had good reviews but very mediocre. Waitress couldn't speak a lick of English and even with help screwed my order up, nor could she answer any of my questions about menu items. Salmon teriyaki was overcooked and tasteless, sides were similarly devoid of any real flavour. Small portions as well for the higher prices. Avocado salad was very good with house dressing. The food here is so excellent. Love the lunch bento boxes...great variety. The sushi is very fresh and so good. Teriyaki is delicious. The restaurant is very clean and pleasing. The staff is extremely friendly and the chefs always thank you before you leave. The kids love sitting in the booth too. I would go once a week if I could I love it that much! You would not be disappointed! Our favorite sushi place in Mississauga.
I've been going to this restaurant for several years with my whole family. The owners are very friendly, always greeting you with a smile and respect. The service is outstanding as they always remember our order from the previous week. The sushi & sashimi is very fresh as the chief personally buys the fish from the market every day.
I highly recommend this resto. We've been going here for years and the quality of the food has not changed. In fact, they keep introducing new items on the menu that are just as great. Service is great. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent sushi restaurant in north east Oakville. It's not an all you can eat. Closed on Mondays. Very good bento boxes for lunch and special rolls are well made.
