It’s been a lonnnng time. I attended SUNY Albany from 1989-1993. My brother had attended from 1980-1984, and he was the one who informed me of the existence of this little gem of a restaurant. I loved to get a soup and half sandwich. Stuck firmly in my memory is the potato leek soup with a seafood salad sandwich with cranberry mayonnaise on the homestyle coarse bread. So delicious! Charming little coffee shop! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and their coffee is consistently smooth and of high quality, offering delightful flavors. Their food is both satisfying and tasty, and they also have some delightful pastries. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a great place to be. Upstairs, there are lovely window seats perfect for people-watching or simply soaking up the sun on Lark Street.

This café is fantastic! Despite the long line and the rainy, cold weather, Asia is efficiently taking orders, preparing drinks, and even offering suggestions for my complex requests while providing expected wait times. The coffee is excellent, and the work ethic here is impressive!
