I miss dining in, but this is the top spot for authentic Japanese cuisine in the area, hands down. They offer customizable options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. The service for take-out is excellent. Perfect for a dinner meal, the price per person ranges from $20 to $30. The food, service, and atmosphere are all rated 5 stars. Highly recommend trying the Fried Oysters.
The food was good with quality. However, it did not match the description on the menu. It said the sashimi and maki platter came with 59 pieces serving 6-8 people. In fact, we only got 49 pieces, which barely fed our family of 4. I know inflation is bad, but if they could provide more accurate information, I would decide whether or not to order it based on the price.
This is our favorite Japanese restaurant in the area because it's legit! My family and I have been coming here for over 25 years. It is a small modest place. We no longer live nearby but still make the drive! Our go-to is the chirashi deluxe. Also, it's take out only during the last couple of years due to pandemic.

The best and most authentic sushi around where I live. The people here are very nice, and before COVID it was great being able to strike up conversations with the sushi chefs.
Legit Japanese cuisine. Ask for the Omakase (choice of Sushi/Maki) for the best sushi experience in the area. Just take for now, but worth the ride to pick up.
