Slow, TERRIBLY SLOW!! Too slow for fast food!!! You can drive to the Pearland dairy Queen and get your order and drive back to the Alvin dairy Queen and still be faster than this particular store. Been here only 3 times and honestly never left sooner than 28 mins in drive-through. Went in once and waited just to have the ice cream 1/3melted, opened container and it poured all over my shirt and pants. DAIRY QUEEN, HIRE SOME PEOPLE WHO CAN WORK!!!The manager replied he would fix the problem, guess what?? 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. I have never written a review before, but this experience was so awful that I felt compelled to do so. This restaurant disappoints every time we visit, and this will be the last time. The food seemed old and reheated - cold fries, tough steak, and dry chicken strips. The management is poor, and it appears to be run by inexperienced children. I suggest driving 10 extra minutes to a better Dairy Queen on Broadway. This place is on its way out, in my opinion. Absolutely terrible.
Tonight I bought a sea salt toffee chocolate blizzard. When I got it, it was melted. When the lady at the window asked me if I would like it re made I said yes. Well what I didn’t know until I got home was there was no ingredients in the blizzard. It’s very disappointing to know you have spent the money to get something you want and this is the kind of service you get. So Dairy Queen owner/manager you might want to step up to the plate and need to do more training on how to make a blizzard.
I felt like royalty dining at Dairy Queen. The staff treated me like a king. My chicken strips were cooked perfectly in fresh oil, and my meal was delicious. I never had to wait for a refill on my drink as a staff member was always available to fill it. My Oreo Blizzard tasted like the Oreos were personally handcrafted for me. It was a foodgasm. On May 13, 2022, I visited Alvin Dairy Queen and waited for 15 minutes. I noticed that the staff was low and one worker was running back and forth between three stations to take orders. I ordered a small dip cone and a peanut butter cup Blizzard. The worker made it in just 5 minutes, despite being hardworking and busy with other tasks. I asked him where his help was when he was straining his back. He was a nice young man.
I have been to this restaurant about 8 times and have been able to enjoy their delicious chicken and dumplings. The portions are generous and the dish is worth the price, but it can be expensive. However, there have been times when they do not have it available, even though it is listed on the menu. It would be nice to have the option consistently whenever I visit.
We recently returned to the restaurant after a few months. The food was cold and the meat was tough during our last visit. However, last night's meal was fantastic. We noticed a new staff member who provided excellent service. We love having date nights at Alvin DQ.
Placing my order was great. Friendly service at the front counter. Kitchen must not care about the food ordered. Paid for extra meat patty but didn't get it. Burger was cold and one patty on it appears to have been cooked yesterday.Won't go back anytime soon Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
They need help. I'm so ashamed of people not wanting to work. This poor girl was taking orders, fixing the food and delivering to the drive thru customers. I don't know what was happening inside.
