Giving this restaurant 1 star is being too generous. When my fiancé and I walked in, we were met by a rude and entitled teenager who was more interested in flirting with two young girls than helping us. Despite us waiting to place our order, he continued chatting with the girls. When he finally turned his attention to us, he messed up our order multiple times. It's shocking that a place like Dairy Queen couldn't even get simple blizzards right. And to top it off, he was loud and unprofessional, discussing partying with the girls while making our order. It's clear that DQ needs to do a better job of hiring responsible employees. We won't be returning, and based on other reviews, it seems like...
This Dairy Queen experience was extremely disappointing. Despite giving them multiple chances, the service was subpar. I ordered two blizzards, a crucial task for them, yet one was missing sprinkles and the other was not what I had ordered. The worker seemed more interested in flirting with young girls than focusing on customer service. His lack of attention and professionalism was completely unacceptable. The management needs to take responsibility for the poor quality of service and products at this location. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Bad service, ordered one of the numbered meals then he asked me what I ordered so I told him the number again, then he asked me what was included in the number meal..... I had to tell him what is clearly marked on the menu! Then I get up to the window and it was still wrong. Maybe he was a trainee or something? If that was the case no one was helping or instructing him. If that wasn't the case, then that is just pathetic.
This restaurant has definitely declined, which is really disappointing. They hardly ever open the inside anymore. Today, we were informed that the grill was closed after we had already placed our food order. (It was a Saturday night at 6 PM. No food? It's really disheartening to see a once well-maintained DQ now looking so neglected. I hope someone takes over and improves it.
I observed a restaurant staff member using the same broom to sweep the floor and then the table tops where customers dine. The service was for take-out, the meal type was dinner, and the price per person was between $1 and $10. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1.

The service at this restaurant is unbelievably slow. The menu is even smaller than most Dairy Queen locations. It is best to avoid using the drive-thru.
This may be the worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to. I make the drive out to Waconia just to get a blizzard that is actually good.
