On Saturday night after 9 pm the wife decides she wants a tasty treat (Chocolate Malt) from DQ. Since the Pelham location was already closed this left the Alabaster location as the closest one that is open late until 11 pm. When we arrived the drive thru was wrapped around the building and the lobby was crowded. We decided to split up and see who would be able to order the shake first. I stayed in the drive thru and my wife went inside to order. It was no contest as she won easily. It is probably better to be go inside and order rather than sitting in a long line wasting gas which is rather expensive right now.
I placed an order for my son's birthday cake. I was able to easily place the order online and was even given the option to upload a photo from my phone to customize it. The ordering process was so easy. Yesterday, when I arrived at Dairy Queen location, not only was I BLOWN AWAY at how amazing they had done on the cake, EVERY DETAIL done better than I could have imagined. But also, the staff were SO KIND! I walked out of the store with the best cake I have ever ordered for my son in 13 years, but also with a huge smile on my face. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I ordered a cake in gold and black decals. It looked awful. It was the most ugly cake I've ever seen. Looked like a toddler had decorated it .I was so disappointed but it was 30 min before the party so I didn't have time to wait for another. Very disappointed. So was my child . She also tried to charge me for an edible image. There wasn't an edible image. The cashier was even confused saying I'm not charging you for that. It doesn't have it. I opted out of the edible image fearful of quality.and now I'm glad I did.
Got to the drive through window to pay and was a few cents short and the cashier refused to let us have our food over a few pennies. How to search all over my car to find the change just to get dinner and was one penny short and she almost didn't let us have our dinner. I mean really!! Don't eat out a lot, guess this is why.

They get overwhelmed easily. Blizzards are not blended as well as they should be although that is across the chain not just this location. Worst thing here was the young lady chomping bubble gum, including blowing bubbles while handing out food. I appreciated her attitude but the gum was gross.
Went to pick up a order on door dash for one drink guy tells me 30 mins , are you it’s a door dash order post to be ready and 30 minutes for a milkshake… by far the worst place in alabaster. Y’all need to give up not renew the
Great Dairy Queen that I visit often. Quality is always on point and both drive through and inside is fast and efficient. Staff can be a little inatentive when busy but otherwise great.
Just got a blizzard with two toppings and there’s almost none of either in it. I’d go back to complain but I got it right before closing. Waste of $7

Dairy Queen Grill Chill has delicious ice cream and sundaes. They have tables outside so you can seat outside.
We dined in and the service was excellent! Such nice employees!
