Dairy Queen (treat)

This is one of the few remaining classic Dairy Queens. Make sure to visit while you can! The DQ corporation is gradually closing down franchises like this one each year. Several locations in Illinois, including Carbondale, were shut down this summer.

The Afton location is a little further than the Hampton location but worth the extra 5 minutes. Their service is head and shoulders above Hampton. Much more friendly and faster service.
