*Update*Went back to give them a second chance. Same thing happened. This location has no idea how to make blizzards. Steer clear if you’re expecting the blizzard you order.…I stopped in because I was craving a cookie dough blizzard. I got half way home when I realized the blizzard looked off.. I realized there wasn’t any chocolate syrup in it. Luckily I was passing a CVS so I stopped in and got some Hersey syrup. Almost ruined my night but I was able to somewhat salvage the blizzard.
This DQ now has a sign that says they have a 4% discount for cash purchases. What this *really* means is that if you pay with a debit or credit card, they 're tacking on an extra charge for no good reason. Tonight is the last time we 'll be going to this DQ, which is too bad because it 's so close to us. We can get ice cream at a lot of other places without being ripped off.
The staff is friendly and they always accommodate my requests. While the prices are a bit high and the decor could use some updating, the woman who works there regularly is incredibly nice! I have a gluten intolerance, and she even made a pure ice cream cake for my graduation that everyone loved! She's truly kind.
